For the hearty, flexible, and strong. Mostly this pose is a matter of flexibility in the shoulders, back, and chest. (I confess I had a lot of help getting into this pose for the picture.)

Wheel Pose (Upward-Facing Bow)

Asana 36 -Salabhasana

Lifting both your arms and your legs strengthens all the muscles of the back. This pose requires discipline and stamina. It’s one of those poses that I might be known to put off doing — but I shouldn’t!
