I support the hip of straight leg with a blanket or block. Even so, this is not an easy pose. I always feel like I am going to tip over.

Pull up and forward rather than just forward. Repetitions of this and the next two poses stretch and release the hamstrings. Anybody who sits all day at a desk, travels on airplanes, or walks or runs, needs these poses!
